Following consultation with the residents, the front boundary structures for dwellings on the Heady Hill and Back o’th Moss housing estates were replaced. We worked together with Rochdale Boroughwide Housing, Groundwork and Heywood NDC to realise the project.
The new dwarf walls and railings replaced the old dilapidated timber fencing and created a common visual theme across the estates.
Representatives from the two housing estates were involved during the design and construction phases of the project and feedback from the residents following completion has been very positive.
The boundary treatments are part of a wider range of improvements being implemented throughout Heywood by Heywood New Deal for Communities.
